First Pass Version

Sooooo...my niece's younger brother found out that I had made a superhero version of her and, as can be expected, he wanted in on the action.  So he asked me to do one of him with lightning powers.

This one took a bit more thought because my nephew, unlike his artist of a big sister who knew exactly what she wanted, he wasn't quite sure what his character would look like until I drew up some concepts for him to kind of pick-and-choose from.  This is what we came up with.

I designed this character for a client of a martial arts studio a long time ago, (I'm talking high school before I had taken any anatomy classes.  Hint.  Hint.) and thought I'd pick it up again to try some animation with it. This is a start of what I had in mind as far as the movement and timing, so the model is not at all detailed, or perhaps even proportionally correct in some places in this stage.  As part as my animation process, it's just how I roll. ;)
